Imlil offers a very good starting point for many walks and strolls amongst the High Atlas, into its many valleys and among many Berber villages.

The views are very impressive and on a “giant” scale. No matter your level of fitness, Imlil and the surrounding area can be accessible to all levels of walker, the area being ideal both for the experienced and for less less experienced walkers. All will be rewarded by the delights enjoyed from walking in such a beautiful setting.

Travelling time to Imlil from Marrakech is around 90 minutes. ATS has many options for hikes in this area with different levels of difficulty, moderate to demanding. It is through full discussion with our clients beforehand that we tailor your ideal hike for the day (or half day … or longer) The duration of hikes can be from 3 to 5 hours; height gains on a trek here can be from 300m to 600m; distances walked can be from 7kms to 10kms. Each hike/trek is tailored to requested requirements.
